Please join us for CLT Runs 4Wards

Please join us next week for CLT Runs 4wards. During this annual event, the RunningWorks Team takes to the streets of Uptown to run (and walk) the city’s four wards to distribute warm winter wear, toiletries and other much-needed items along with community resource pamphlets to help those experiencing homelessness in our community.

This year’s two-day event will be held Tuesday, February 19 and Wednesday, February 27. Each day, the team will meet at 5:00 pm at RWHQ, located at 901-E North Tryon Street, to assemble care packages before hitting the streets. We hope you can join us. For more information about volunteering, please email volunteer@runningworks.org.

Donations are welcome. While we have many items on hand, we are still in need of blankets, water bottles, hats and gloves. If you can’t join us on February 19 or 27, online donations can be made here. Continue reading “Please join us for CLT Runs 4Wards”
