RW selected for SEED20’s Class of 2018

The RunningWorks team is proud to announce that we have been selected to compete in this year’s SEED20 competition.

SEED20 is an annual program created by Social Venture Partners that identifies, highlights and connects the community to our region’s most innovative ideas for tackling pressing social challenges.

Over the course of the next two months, we will join a class of 20 nonprofit participants to receive training, coaching, feedback, and mentoring on how to succinctly and powerfully tell our story – who we are and why we matter. These efforts will culminate in SEED20 OnStage, a high-energy event where 10 members of the class compete to win cash awards by making three-minute pitches to a panel of judges and a community audience.

Tickets for SEED20 OnStage are currently on sale and available online at Seed20.org. The event will be held April 16 at Knight Theater. All 20 nonprofit entrepreneurs will be showcased at the event.

Vying for prizes, up to 10 finalists will give fast-paced three-minute pitches of their ideas to a panel of judges and to the live audience. You, as part of the audience, will have a chance to vote for your favorite!

SEED20 OnStage also includes a celebration following the pitches where the audience can interact and connect with each nonprofit to learn more about their mission and opportunities for support and engagement. We hope to see you there!
